i actually finished painting the blue guest room blue. on the right you can see the new color. no offense to the previous owner(s) but someone did a horrible job matching the touch- ups. there were also tons of holes so i had to patch them up as well.
this is the view from the door entering the room. the window blinds still needed to go up. i would love to do some sort of window treatments but not sure as to what because of how many windows i have and the two on the ends are at an angle. it also gets very bright in the morning. [we're looking out to the front of the house]
and this is the view from the corner, near the windows. we have a flat screen tv but we're using it in the master bedroom to watch movies. waiting till we get a new tv for the living room so we can play musical tv's. i also need to put something over the headboard, a funky mirror perhaps?
and this is the view from the bed. i've had that painting forever and it matched perfectly with the blue. the door to the right leads to the jack-n-jill bathroom.
i still need to paint the doors and the trim around the doors. i'm pretty happy with myself because i painted the walls up to the ceiling and the trim all free hand. my secret? a great brush! i bought a benjamin moore 1.5" angle brush. it gave me straight, smooth lines.now i just need to get my painting mojo back and finish the doors and start painting the bathroom.
