Galveston

We went to the beach on Sunday.  We assumed that if its sunny in Houston, it would be sunny an hour and half away too.  The rain stopped but it was still a cloudy day. [it did make for an uncrowded beach]

this is the recently built Pleasure Pier. It costs $10 bucks just to walk through it and another $20+ for the rides. We didn't do either. we got our grub on at bubba gump.  we were told we would have to wait an hour and half to be seated then i remembered i had the laundry's select club card. we got in right away. it was super cold inside so i had to buy kaylee a sweatshirt. the sweatshirt even fits me so i call that a deal.  after eating our delicious meal, we headed home. of course then sun decided to come out by then.
