the color run

 7AM- getting ready to take nanny to the airport and hoping the downpour stops.

 trying to stay dry

 ready to start the race since it was still raining and getting cold

our first 5K together

 mike, the nerd, wanted the stadium behind him

 full of color = full of fun!

 the after party = more color!

 got color in weird places

she does not have a black-eye, pretending to be in pain from "black- eye"

1. kaylee was so excited about this run that she didn't mind waking up at 6:15 on a sunday.

2. our race was at 9:00 but we had to take nanny to the airport first. [i didn't have the dates nanny was going to be here when i signed us up for the race]

3. of course it was down pouring that morning.

4. once we got to the race, i had to pee and couldn't find a porta potty anywhere.

5. they didn't start the race till half an hour later so we were wet, kinda cold and had to pee.

6. once the race got started, we ran for a bit but i couldn't run anymore because my bladder was so full!

7. about half way, we see houses and an empty lot with half a fence around it. guess who went potty? yup, i did not care whatsoever! [the other people started coming in with the same idea in mind]

7. after emptying my bladder, i could of ran the whole way back but kaylee was getting tired. 

8. she did really well and we probably ran at least a mile or so all together.

9. mike got a shovel full of orange thats why he looks like an oompaloompa.

10. afterwards they had a little party where even more color was thrown. it was so much but we had to leave because the dolphins played at noon plus we were wet and hungry.
