favorite things swap

 this beauty is 2 nails wrapped in beads made by an adult with special needs

all of my goodies

1. i found #favthingsswap on instagram while looking through the #mugswap2013 that i was a day late in signing up for. [i did it last year]

2. jade, who is also from texas, was the lucky one to get my name- ha!

3. i LOVE everything that she had sent. the chalkboard bubble is above my head in my office. i'm going to write "mom is in a time out!" [my kids never got a time out unless they were bad. on those crazy days that i needed 10-15 mins of quiet- gave myself one instead!]

4. she also sent a pretty scarf. i know, you know, we all know its hot in texas but there will be that one week where its a little chilly in the morning while walking kaylee to school and i'm going to be wearing it unless she gets to it first.

5. there is also some awesome purple office supplies, 3 mini bottles of nail polish and lip gloss. [can't wait for spalicious- kaylee's "spa", to open] 

6. and underneath that is a "fivebucks" card because we all know a drink from starbucks cost about 5 bucks.  see? total awesome-ness!!

7. i really love that pretty cross. its in my office hanging from the cabinet knob where i can see it everyday.

8. i finally got my "crafting project" done and my favorite things sent out today. 

9. i'm always nervous that the person won't like what i sent or that i sound like dummy [clean version] on the letter that i wrote.

10. kaylee is sad that there is no kids favorite swap. hmmm.... need to find someone who might be interested in making this happen.
