1. kaylee did an awesome job at her first piano recital on saturday. she got a trophy and we got her flowers for a job well done.
2. after the recital, she went to a [boy's] birthday/pool party.
3. while she was there, mike and i went flower shopping. everything at the garden center was 50% off so we got 2 hydrangea bushes, some vinca's and society garlic. oh, and another planter for a plant i bought awhile back.
4. we also decided on a creeping mytrle tree for the empty space in the back yard. this weekend our neighbor is coming over to help mike with the pavers to go around the flower beds in the back.
5. then we had to pick up little nugget for another [girl's only] birthday/pool party.
6. her little friends house was AWESOME! i think mike was a little jealous though he won't admit it.
7. after my walk this morning, i stayed home all day and did some cleaning.
8. got ham's bathroom cleaned since he's back at school and some of kaylee's bedroom. getting things around for that someday garage sale.
9. i hate staying home, it makes for a long and boring day. ham's bored too since none of his roommates came back for summer school. [he's been calling asking how to clean and start the dishwasher]
10. but i'm trying not to spend any money. we need to really work on staying on budget and we plan on buying the rest of the pavers for the flower beds this weekend.
