the fun portrait

1. we had a great time saturday. [it got us out of the house!]

2. after checking in and getting our food, it started to down pour. it cleared up once we finished eating. [the food was delish!]

3. they had a "hamster ball" but kaylee wouldn't go inside and roll in it. she wanted her face painted instead.

4. i sent ham a photo of her face painting and he replied back, "i knew i should of gone to the picnic, i want my face painted too."  i'm sure there was no sarcasm in that text.

5. they had all sorts of activities for the kids: hamster ball, laser tag, petting zoo, a bull ride, the swing ride, tattoo artists and face painters.

6. they also had activities for the big kids: volleyball, soccer, laser tag, basket ball and minute-to-win-it games that included prizes.

7. there was also more snacks: snow cones, popcorn, beer, wine and water/pop stations.

8. after walking around a bit, we hit the caricatures and ended up waiting for over an hour. there were only 4 families in front of us but they wanted the WHOLE family done.

9. once it was our turn, the artist said he would include me since he had some time. i declined and had given my ticket to a kid babysitting his younger sister. so he did some extra's on kaylee's portrait.

10. and now i have one of kaylee and ham.
